My carrying box...
I made this a little while ago in order to store and carry troops to and from the battlefield. I hand etched the Imperial Aquila and cut all the dove joints myself, I stained the wood afterward and I think it makes for a really nice worn classic look. Those egg cartons are only temporary as I hope to get enough money to buy some proper foam inserts for my soldiery.
My table
I have wanted my own gaming table for as long as I can remember, now I am renting a house in brookings that has a nice little basement with a nice little room that is just about perfect for gaming! Here are some pictures of my setup, it's no dream table, but it's useful for my purposes.
The table, with a few sparse terrain pieces on it.
But suddenly...
MINIATURE EXPLOSION!!

My recent travels..
New Blog!
Well, I have decided to give this blogging thing a try, mostly because I would like to have a space to post my painting and modeling works, so that I might be able to share with others without them having to see the model up close. Because this is a test post, I have uploaded a couple of pics that I just happened to have lying on my computer. Nothing too special, just a comparison between two dreadnoughts that I have painted, one of them, the normal dread with lascannon/fist combo I did four years ago, the other, the venerable dreadnought I just did last year. I hope to be able to post my more recent projects and hopefully cover some the Warhammer 40k related events that I go to.
