Pics from today's showdown.

I played my first game of 40k today since moving to California today. It was a pretty epic battle, my foe, Ron, fielded more tanks than I thought was possible. These pics are a recap of the action. Sadly, I landed on the losing side in this one though I gave a valiant effort, chewing through 8 of his tanks. However, the tide of armor outlasted my out-gunned marines.

New Models

These models took way too long to finish. They are by far the lowest quality models i've ever painted in terms of sculpting quality. But, here they are, finally. One of the biggest things im working on is getting higher quality pictures. It's always been one of the foibles of showing work online. If you have any hints, let me know.

NEW!! Painting Projects!

Some new stuff after about 2 years of letting this blog remain dormant. In that time I believe my skills have improved by leaps and bounds, the Terminator Chaplain I am particularly proud of, the photo is a bit garbage because I have found I have few photo taking skills. The Razorback was more of an experiment really with vehicle highlighting, I liked some of the results, am not so pleased with some others, but definitely a good exercise. Razorback round 2 will be coming soon along with more Ultramarine repaints.
